How come everyone but me knows how to put up their profile picture? I feel so stupid! Every time I try it comes up reading that it failed. I suspect it may have something to do with the picture size, but I don't know how to fix it. I have the same problem on Ispine, but not on Facebook.

You are using the "Your Avatar" link up at the top, center of the page?

Here are the picture size requirements.
Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 80 by 80 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).
Someone else will have to help you adjust the picture size, I can do it, but I don't know enough to tell someone else how to do it.

Go to your program that keeps your pictures in it. You then need to crop your picture down. You can also go to your start menu, click on pictures, then click on the picture you want to use. When the picture is big (not a thumbnail), there should be an edit option, click that. You should then have the option to crop or resize the picture, click that. You then adjust the square over the part of the picture you want to keep. Then click apply and if satisfied, click save as, title it and then you should have it in a small enough file size to use as your avatar. If you need more help, let me know and I will do my best to walk you through it.

Oh, brother, I did all of that Kathy, and still....won't upload pic. I cropped it, and saved it, etc., etc., and still says it failed. If you go to my profile on Ispine it will show the picture. It just won't transfer to when I post. I clearly need to go to a Mac class or need to download some app. to let me do this. My husband can't help me cux he doesn't have an Apple.

Thx for trying to help me......oh, whaddayaknow?! It worked on this site! Yippee!!!!!!!

Yes, ha-ha, as a matter of fact it is. That's a close-up of me snow-shoeing on our lake up at the cabin this past winter. I think it was about 20 or 30 below.

People don't understand Minnesota Winters until they have lived in a Minnesota Winter. There is such a thing as Nasty Cold.

When the snow becomes crunchy frozen, something is seriously wrong. It's friggin' COLD!
