Still not over the terible fatigue. My testosterone level was low (a side effect of opioids) and the urologist gave me a script for Androgel. I also need to get the cause for the low T3 & T4 with a normal TSH.
    Great news, JOAT!

    Jack,

You always crack me up and I needed a good laugh.
Investigating the docs, making sure they are to the muster, sounds like something I would do. Nothing to fool around with when you think about the possibility of CA.
    Glad it is okay.
    Loved the pool joke, too.
Did your head aches go away?
I got Fiornal from my ENT doc too. It helps if I have a really bad sinus headache. Long hx of sinus infections, you know.
Going to a shrink, that is covering all the bases now.
Sorry, about the kidney stone, just talkin to a friend last week about his episode. No fun.

I hope you are right about the low "T". I'm having both PSA and testosterone checked again in 6 months. In the mean time, supplementation with such a low dose of anabolic steroid as needed to gut up to normal doesn't carry the risk of those who use it in mega-doses for body building. There has been adds on TV for those over 45 to have there "T" checked as low "T" can be a normal part of aging. I'm way past 45. As a side, I really don't think pharmaceutical companies should advertise on TV.

The only thing I remember is T3-T4 (thyroid hormone) is quite complex involving the hypothalamus and the pituitary glands in our skulls. The pituitary is at the base of the brain. It is a feedback kind of thing where when thyroid hormone gets low the hypo signals the pit to release thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) which signals the thyroid to produce T3 and T4. All the more proof about the complexity and that life is truly a miracle.

I'm doing my ostrich thing right now and putting my head in the sand. I have a F/U appointment with a endocrinologist in two weeks. I would just as soon not know all the possibilities. I'll try and do some research the day before I see him.
Low back pain became somewhat dehabilitating in 2005
Have had 11 steroid injections, IDET, Trial for nerve stimulator, PT, chiropractic trial, practically every med known to mankind. Discogram indicated three diseased levels with L5-S1 being the most likely pain generator. Post minimally invasive PLIF with internal fixation (titanium) on 12-28-09 of L5-S1. Doing better than expected. Last opioid 7/9/10. Five months pain free, then my neck turned against me. MRI on 12/1/10-- disease at C2 to C7. Only surgical alternative is to fuse entire C-spine. Diagnosed now with Aggressive Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis with cord & brainstem active lesions

For a week, then couple days on then couple days off. They usually don't last but 2-3 hours. I found out stress can also be a cause of cluster headaches. Thankfully, opioids don't work well for cluster headaches. Right now I can handle them OK. Once all this other stuff gets cleared up I'll pursue options. There are many that don't involve habit forming meds.

    Yeah,

The Fiornal I only take for a day or two.
And the sinus headache has to be really irritating.
I started getting sinus H/As pre sinus infection. My sinus would really
start hurting and there would be no infection.
But eventually, it would show its face.
Sometimes don't get an extreme H/A; others I get a bad one.
The H/A is usually with the sinus infection that causes a high fever.
    In my case, anyway.

Hope you don't have to go to so many doctors soon.
There are better things to do.
