That's too funny, Dave. I thought I'd add some graphics to get the Spine Patient Society into the Holiday Spirit.

For the record: I love snow. If it's going to be cold outside, it might as well snow. I used to be a ski bum and I love being in the snow-covered mountains.

I'm totally with you on this Justin. If it's gonna be cold, bring on the snow! I love the snow! It's snowing here too today, but I don't think we are expecting anything substantial until Monday. And I love the snow graphics.

Three cheers for snow!! (oop, sorry Dave)

    Hey Gil and CL,

I'm glad you like the snow! You're outnumbered, Dave. I hope you have some help with the snow (a neighbor with a good back, snow blower, etc.).

Which is all we have here at the moment! I missed the snow graphics that Justin added, and couldn't figure out what you were talking about, Dave! Right now I'll take some very pretty snow over all the mud!

But I have to say after moving here, that I now love winter more than summer I can dress for the chilly days, but not for the hot and very humid ones Even the horses like it better...it looks so gorgeous when they are galloping through a fresh deep snowfall in the morning, with the first rays of sun behind them...sometimes we can get a snow-rainbow!

Where I live, in Grand Haven (which is on the shores of Lake Michigan) we get this nasty thing called Lake Effect Snow Machine. Cold air over warm water means a ton of snow, which Terry can attest to also. It travels maybe 15 miles or so inland, then stops.

When I left for work this morning, we had gotten dumped on with 12" of heavy wet snow. When I get to work, which is about 18 miles inland, they have about 2-3". Ah heck I should move, but the summers on the beach makes up for this despicable frozen water falling around me.

You ever notice (for those of you who get snow) how many people forget how to drive in it! I'm tellin' ya, I saw 5 cars in the ditch on the way in. It's always the same type of vehicles also, the 4 wheel drive, I can go through anything, get out of my way, people. Ha. And they laugh at me for driving a 95 Taurus wagon, which mind you, has never seen the ditch at all. I'm the one who's laughing when I see them.

So here we go, another winter in Michigan. Full of BEAUTIFUL white frozen H2O, which gathers in my driveway and on the roads. (yea, whatever)

And Dave, look at that gorgeous snow picture you added for your Avatar! What could be nicer than that?

Dave, I hear ya. How can people forget how to drive in the snow??! I'm thinking to myself, we live in Minnesota people!! It drives me nuts too. I especially don't like it when people get right on my tail....so close, I can't even see them in my side view mirror. What in their right mind (they don't have one?) possesses them to do that? I got that off my chest. I feel better already. :D
