Welcome back, Dave! It's great to see you...your statement about not getting off of the roller coaster of being a Spine Patient is so very true.

Hey buddy.....I totally get where you are coming from Dave. This isn't exactly the club anyone is eager to join. Now, joining "the grandparent club"......that was something else. Best club I ever joined. Hands down. The chronic pain club? Not so much. Everyone in the chronic pain club has to decide for themselves what works for them, you know? How to best manage their pain, especially if we are talking about life long management. But please don't ever ever feel guilty for not being here, because that's not what SPS is about either, you know? For me, I like to give and receive the support. Helping others distracts me from my own pain. And I will never forget how lost and alone I felt for those first years after my bicycle accident. Never want to go back there. Ever. But you need to do what works for you. And I know....I don't like to be "the complainer" either. I rarely talk to anyone "in real time" about my pain. For why? They won't get it anyway. My husband and 1 incredible girlfriend are really the only ones who really know what's going on in my life, outside of my SPS family. But that's what works for me. If you need the support we are totally here for you Dave. More than anything, I've just missed you, plain and simple. That's my selfishness. Glad I see you on FB too. You can run, but you can't hide from me.....haha! Love ya buddy........CL
