    Default tmont (Trace) and Job13

In researching over the past couple of years I've read posts of some very knowledgeable and kind people and often wonder how they are. There was a young woman from the US living in France working as a doctor or a nurse named Trace who went by 'tmont'. She had a cervical issue but no ADR at the time. I didn't know her but exchanged one PM with her in 2007 asking about her work and decision to live in France; she was most kind in response. Her depth of knowledge of spine and behind the scenes view of her profession were more than helpful. And her whole "go girlfriend" wit and strong character would absolutely crack me up on even the hardest of days to smile; her words and unique insight were a huge help.

Another woman who went by the name Job13 was the first first-person document of revision I read. In reading about her revision I remember most vividly a moment when she described lying in bed as she expressed: 'I lay in my bed, looking at my piece of blue sky in my window while hearing people walking past talking and laughing outside, and I desperately think "God, how much longer?"'. I don't often become emotional when reading but as I read her description of her piece of blue sky I simply began bawling knowing the enth degree, as we all do, of how she wanted to be under a full blue sky knowing the warmth of the sun enjoying a walk with her spouse. That evening was the turning point of my attitude toward my condition leaving my anger in those tears as they cleared and began viewing my condition as how I can improve it as opposed to my frustration with it.

Anyone know how they are? Did tmont get her cervical repaired? Is Job13 walking better now? Thank you.

I was well acquainted with Job 13 in private messages, etc. on another forum over two years ago. I lost track of her after some extremely uncomfortable accusations she made (not towards me), some probably true, some not, and she was ultimately banned from the site. A very unfortunate situation. Unfortunately, I don't know beyond her "adr" removal about a year ago January. I wish her only the best.

I used to be in touch with Trace and Anastasia. I still keep in touch with Anas husband here and there. It sounds like she is doing somewhat better.

I lost track of Trace after she was banned on another Forum. It's interesting you mention two members that had public feuds with another Forum owner and he subsequently banned them.

I'm curious how these two names ended up together in the same post?

I see, thank you for the updates. Apologies for any confusion; a time frame will surely help explain my inquiring.

There were many names in my initial research around fall/winter 2007 that were a ton of help: Terry, Alastair, tmont, Slackwater, Lynda. I didn't post there; I only read their helpful views. Now a year and a half later as I get back into researching all are still contributing save for tmont; I see the banned label now. Having been very moved by her story that winter of '07 I was also hopeful to learn of Anastasia's progress unaware either of them had been banned.

Sorry if the title made for some or head scratching. I only mentioned them together as they are the only two names, of those I used to read, who no longer seem to be posting. It's now clear why and sorry to hear it. My very best to both of them.

No worries, Carson. It was just interesting to see those two names in the same post again after so many years. They both had unique perspectives regarding artificial disc replacement; unfortunately, the owner of another forum censored many of their opinions, which led to an "ugly," unneeded online feud that ultimately resulted in both being banned.

BTW, nothing is off topic / limits on this Forum in terms of discussion...I was just curious about your post.

I wish you nothing but the very best in your research. Please let me know if you need anything.

This post definitely got my attention as I remember both of these people very well. It's amazing to think that we, as Americans, pride ourselves in supporting a document that supports free speech. Trace and Anastasia were both foreigners that were banned for engaging in free speech. How ironic and sad.

I hope they are both doing well.

Hi everyone. Someone sent me this particular link... I was very surprised to see the massage from Cindy...which was hanging there for awhile for people to read...
I see that it was edited after a month, with a 'reason: typo". I am glad that the 'typo" that Job13 "had deep emotional problems and bordering vengeance" was corrected .

Since someone above wanted to hear from me, I decided to answer and to clarify for those who dont know who Job13 is and what happened on the other forum. I dont want to be kicked around, yet again, for no reason. There are around 100 people who read the post from Cindy, un-typo'd. If I was, as brazenly accused, bordering on vengeance, why am I not going on EVERY single forum I can possibly find, telling my story? Why am I not posting the report from an official German Medical Investigators (who reviewed my surgery with Dr.B, and denounced it and stating that the surgery was a 'grave' mistake, and not indicated on multiple factors). Maybe I really should; not out of "vengeance" but out of moral obligation to other people who might think someone's record is perfect because all bad stories are being censored and silenced. I am not the only one who was messed up and left with no help.

For those who don't know what happened on adr-promote forum: I posted my story only so that I can show others what happened when I had a surgery with Dr. B and how I was treated. For example - when I wanted to see Dr. B again to explain that my pain was only 1 or 2 on a scale of 10 pre ADR ... and begged for a meeting, I was told "every minute of Dr. Bertagnolis time is accounted for (and why I had you dash in that day when I squeezed some time out of him, that was a miracle)!" And we lived only one hour away from his office! It was written I had no medication for 6 months (on the medical report). I was basically told on phone 'now or never', or to be more precise: "there is no pain now but it will come back and now is the perfect time to do it".

Dr.B was on the board of 'advisors' of non-profit adr-promote.org (as the admin said publicly), no surprise that after I revealed that I was not a candidate for an ADR and that the surgeon left me with no help in bed for an entire year, someone didnt like it. After I posted my revision recovery, I was kicked out. If one is an admin, he can always say something so that it is justified for readers who dont have a clue whats going on, why the person is gone, especially if she is already banned and cant actually defend herself.

Tmont was kicked out simply because she was trying to defend me from the former workers of Pro$pine were trying to give me a bad name and defame me. Tmont was also appalled by the conduct happening in that site, and wasnt afraid to say it out loud.

My husband's crime was posting factual data/links about particular discs and revisions so that people can read articles and find help if they were in a similar situation. Someone didnt like it (facts) either, so he was kicked out too. There are a dozen others that were silently kicked out or many more who simply left after seeing an admin's unfair, unethical practices, trying to promote one doctor and demote others, censoring posts, and promoting 'microplasms' as the primary cause of ADR failures.

I was desperate for help (just like thousands others out there who are posting and pleading for information or just a compassionate word) and simply posted my story of having ADR. If I posted information how I was completely contraindicated for the received Prodisc and we explained why (from doctors reports). If I posted the fact that my surgeon left me with no help. If I had to endure a revision (which back in 2007 not many doctors had experience with - especially on the Prodisc) and I wrote on ADR-promote how really horrible it was to recover from: Does that make me "emotionally problematic"? Probably, if some people wants to cover up something. Especially if its a potential $25 Billion per year market. I dont think my little peep is going to be heard in the stampede.

How many times in history was the same 'emotional instability' used to discredit a woman who was not afraid to speak up the truth?: she is emotional ... bordering on vengeance. Throw her into the psychiatric ward and sedate her!

So, forgive my long post. I felt like many people who dont know my story, will listen to some gossip (typos?)... I had no idea why my story of having ADR with Dr.B, and finding later from dozen surgeons that I was not an ADR candidate, made such a splash. It made a lot of people who were on our side to be silenced (banned). Perhaps because the surgeon appears to have a perfect record and we were not afraid to say out loud: "This is my story and we have proof. If the doctor denies any problem with my adr, while all others in unison are saying there is, and he leaves me, realistically speaking, to die in pain in bed after his mistake, do you think that he will not do it again?" Do you think he cares?

I am sure people want to see all testimonials and not only good ones.
Thanks for allowing me to post here.

We have been moving a lot, and I have been a bit too busy. So, sorry that I kind of disappeared...

Welcome to a site that will respect your rights of free speech. Your story and subsequent banning was one of the factors in my not considering that surgeon. A great deal of effort was made to downplay what happened to you by that forum (by banning you) and the one called I-$pine (a purely for profit medical travel agent). I ended up going to Stenum and for the most part have absolutely no pain related to my back injuries.

You'll find this forum completely different in a lot of ways. Great people started it and more great people have joined to contribute.

I hope your revision surgery has been successful and you are now pain free as well.
