file:///Users/Cindy/Pictures/iPhoto%20Library/Originals/2011/Jan%202,%202011/IMG_0367.JPG Let me see if this works before I get too excited. I'm trying to post a few pics while up here at the cabin. This morning when I awoke and looked outside at the thermometer it said -35! Yikes, and that's without factoring in any windchill. Anyway you cut it, it's COLD up here in the northwoods of Minnesota! But with the sun out, what a beautiful picture, yeah? CL
nope, didn't work. Kathy, I tried clicking on "framed artwork button" and all it did was bring up the question of the url, NOT like your computer did, which was asking you where you wanted to get your picture from, and you clicked your computer, then clicked Iphoto. It's NOT giving me that option. This is so frustrating for me. I NEVER have trouble posting pics on Facebook. Only here.![]()

Hmmmm..... not sure why it didn't work, that's weird. Justin?? You are on a new MacBook too, right? So I wouldn't think it was your computer and I'm still not familiar enough with my Mac to say how to clear cookies or any of that, so no help here.

-35F? That's like -37C?! How can anything survive that sort of temp? Any wildlife out there, or all hibernating, migrating or dead?
Stinking hot here today. Might go for a swim this arvo.
OMGosh, I didn't even see the negative symbol in front of that number, Brrrrrr..... Here I was feeling sorry for myself because it was 28F here this morning, though it did warm up decently. We've had a fire going every night and I don't think my heater has had much of a break either. I would hate to receive your heat bill for the winter.
Hot sounds wonderful Chris, I LOVE Summer! We are going to an indoor water park next weekend (Great Wolf Lodge- really neat place) and even though they heat it to 84F, still not sure how I'll swim knowing it's cold outside. I'm weird like that. I may just chill in the hotel while hubby and the kids swim- LOL

Ok...so mine worked (at least I can see it and click on the image to enlarge it)
Cindylou - What size is the picture you are uploading? I.E. not necessarily in bytes, but, in relationship to the W X H size?
I down converted the girls pic from a 2252 X 1944 to a typical 640 X 480 web based picture.
Depending on the quality of the digital photo, this can eliminate up to 1 full Megabyte of "info" from the picture.
This type of forum is limited to the size of the photo (usually). vBulletin (the company that supports this forum software) utilizes PHP, which is a hypertext preprocessor. PHP can be finicky it regards to digital media.
Try manipulating your picture in some sort of Photo Editor and change the properties to a 640 X 480 W X H. Then try to use the icon called "Insert Image" within the menu options of the thread. This one ![]()
Don't preview the message after you upload the pic. Simply post it...
