    1993 Back pain age 29.
    1998-2001 DDD at L1/2. 10 admissions for discography/epidurals/facet injections/disc injections/RFA's.
    2005 ALIF at L1/2 with BMP & good result: pain free
    2007 DDD at L4/5 unresponsive to epidural. Discography: early degeneration, anular tear & bulge. Limited response to core strengthening.
    2009 ADR (activ L) L4/5.
    2011 Facet injections L4/5 & later on T10-L2.
    2011 (October) Epidurogram, epidural, nerve root injections & RFA's T10-L2.

    Fall on tailbone causing sciatica and back pain April 05
    Conservative Treatment and PM for 2 years
    Discogram concordant pain @L4-S1 Aug. 07
    Prodisc ADR's at L4-S1 November 2007
    Foraminotomy July 08 for Sciatica-failed
    Back pain worsened
    Prodiscs removed and discs fused at L4-S1 Feb. 09

    Congratulations on a job well done!!!!!!!!!!!
    Work Injury 2001 back never the same after but have had several more injuries at work.
    Conservative treatments till 2009. Several ESI's ,Physical therapies,TENS unit, Etc...
    DDD L3-4 L4-5 L5-S1
    2009 bilateral decompression on 2 levels
    2-2010 Lumbar Laminectomy at 2 levels
    5-2010 MRI shows herniation or fragment again.
    Pain in back and legs ongoing just had Caudal Block 5-2010
    They want to do 3 level fusion but unsure if thats best. Any responses appreciated!!!

    Congratulations! That is absolutely wonderful.
    Diagnosis:
    Degenerative disc disease throughout spine
    Generalized disc bulging with mild narrowing of thecal sac in L2-L3, L3-L4, L4-L5, L5-S1.
    Moderate spinal stenosis L4-L5
    Foraminal narrowing
    Recent compression Fx at T10,T11.
    Treatment:
    Spinal decompression 2007
    Cortisone injection in lower back in 2010
    Relieved of pain for now
    Hope for ADR

    Congrats Man!! What field are you studying? Shall I guess spine? lol or no
    Riding 4 wheeler and playing basketball. Collide with guy in mid air and I hit concrete on one leg and then fall down. Wake up in pain cant move for few hours, fine few days later. Back never the same.

    dec 2007 horseplaying with father, contained l5-s1 disc herniation with sciata on right leg, traction helps and time, pain free, diagnosed ddd l4/l5 and l5/s1

    Hey Better late then never!! Congratulations man!!! I certainly hope you go into being a spine specialist! But what ever the specialty, you will be awesome! Maybe a pain specialist! Should I just plan your whole future for you? lol

    Great job! I've been one who has gone back to school as an adult and it is not an easy thing! So, how many more years before we get to start making appointments with you?
