Mary- I know you feel like you can't take it anymore, trust me, I have been there... often. You will get through this, it may not be tomorrow; but it will happen. I will say a prayer for you!
PS. If you makes you feel any better, my 3 year old woke me up at 4 am and she has had me up ever since. She is either crying or bossing the dog around (loudly, which is threatening to wake my other child). I have been trying, unsuccessfully to get her back to sleep, so I can get a few more zzz's

Mary, a really reaaaaally good cry will help..honest. Rant, kick something (soft), rage, all away from your baby, of course....it will help.

    Ask me how I know....
Severe compression of spinal cord, flaval ligament, etc. at C4/5 & 5/6.
Herniation and compression, at L3/4 to L5/S1 plus spondylosis at the latter level. Severe allergy to most metals.
Three level surgery in Brazil with Dr. Luiz Pimenta on March 17/2010 using non-metal appliances. L5/S1-PEEK cage, ALIF; L4/5-PEEK cage, XLIF; C5/6-NuVasive NeoDisc. Three separate approaches, two minimally invasive. Currently minor residual back pain, from SI ligament and still overdoing things . Therapy and chiropractic treatments helping immensely. Gone from being almost bedridden to near normal activities including gardening. Life is gooooood!

What doesn't kill us will make us stronger.

The world goes on in spite of our difficulties.

When I accepted how small and insignificant I am, I realized that, alone, we can achieve little; together we can achieve miracles.

Sometimes it is best to lay on your lawn at 10 AM and look at the stars for an hour. We are but a tiny grain of sand and; "This too shall pass."

I have had marital un-bliss for the past couple of weeks. I have been scarce here in the process. Twenty four years together does not mean that we do not spat. This time looked like we were both going to throw in the towel. We are at least communicating decently again. A tiny spark and start occurred.

    Again; "This too shall pass."

I feel like an expert in that field, Terry...lots of past mistakes. I'm sorry...just keep on keeping on...and yes, it will pass. Wish I had some words of wisdom.

When hubby and I fight, I try to remind myself (and him) that we are playing for the same team. Not to say that he doesn't piss me off sometimes, b/c he can really get under my skin. But, we get through it, be it only by the grace of God.
