Default The list is soooooooo long ;)

Where do I start ...we have a wonderful homemade ice cream shoppe in our village, and my favourite flavour there is rhubarb, followed by ginger, and then toasted almond. Of course, if I really want to be indulgent, I can get a cone with all three flavours in it!

High quality rich milk chocolate.........mmmmmmmmmmmm. While dark chocolate is supposed to be better for you or something, I don't like the bitter taste to it. Milk chocolate is just so yummy and creamy. Or even a cheap chocolate bar will do in a pinch of course

Spanakopita is my favourite Greek food, followed by great Thai meals at our favourite restaurant in the city.

Last but not least, since I cannot eat anything containing wheat or any gluten for that matter, there is a fabulous bakery just down the street from the Thai restaurant that makes a chocolate supreme cake. No flour, just chocolate, heavy cream, sugar and eggs....what more could a girl ask for?

Hmmmm, seems like most of this list centers around desserts....and chocolate!

    Next????

    Default Ooops!

I just saw the word 'food' instead of ethnic or international, so my list is a bit skewed. Surely ice cream falls into one of those categories, as does chocolate, right?!

    Katie,

My mouth is watering from your post--yum! Don't forget to vote in the poll...I thought I would make the poll multi-choice, but I think I would select all of the options!

    Ummmmmm....desserts! My favorite.

Haha...I had the wrong title up for awhile! We need to start another thread about favorite food, especially after your detailed reply. I'm so hungry now, but I'm not sure why.

PS Ice cream is my personal weakness!

Default I thought I had seen...

    just food in the title!

I'm more of a baker than a 'cook', and I'd be glad to provide some goodies if we ever have a reunion of some kind!

Off to fill in the poll!

Can we vote more than once? LOL! There are too many favourites there.

PS...is there any way to avoid that image verification up top? My typing has gone downhill so much...I had to type the word 'poll' three times to get it right...how bad is that... Imagine how long Mohammad takes!

I know. It was a tie between Indian and Italian for me. Thanks, I'll look into the image verification...it's to avoid those lovely spammers.

I grew up in San Fernando Valley; Granada Hills, California. We grew up on Mexican food and not the La Senorita variety. Real Mexican food is healthy and good. Makes my mouth water thinking about Mama's homemade Enchiladas. MmGood!

After moving to Miami in the '90s I really grew fond of Cuban and Caribbean food. It's hard to find a good restaurant here though.

My wife doesn't have great cooking skills (we generally pray after our meals) so I hardly ever get the chance to eat Carribean cuisine.
