You're still a step ahead of me Kathy, and the rest of ya to boot. I don't do any of that! I used to sew when I was younger, growing up. My Mom taught me....but I just haven't stayed with it. I used to knit too, in college. Not anymore. What's my problem?

Alison, completely changing the subject, but I just have to say: I can't see your pretty face in your new avatar. You're too far away. Have you got another one, more close up? Kathy, I love your new one, because it's still close up, and....you look mavalus dahling!!

Thank you CL! I went with my friend this weekend to her 10 year class reunion. We had so much fun, seeing old friends and making new ones (she graduated a year after me and from a different school; but I still knew quite a few people). It was nice going out, without kids and getting to be a 'grown up'

i have the hexagons on a powerpoint if anybody wants to have a go, it truly is a way to waste hours and hour and lots of scraps of material. A machine quilt can be made in a couple of days but I can't sit to do that!
