Come on guys, I need some 'up' stories today (and for yesterday...dang red tape)
Severe compression of spinal cord, flaval ligament, etc. at C4/5 & 5/6.
Herniation and compression, at L3/4 to L5/S1 plus spondylosis at the latter level. Severe allergy to most metals.
Three level surgery in Brazil with Dr. Luiz Pimenta on March 17/2010 using non-metal appliances. L5/S1-PEEK cage, ALIF; L4/5-PEEK cage, XLIF; C5/6-NuVasive NeoDisc. Three separate approaches, two minimally invasive. Currently minor residual back pain, from SI ligament and still overdoing things. Therapy and chiropractic treatments helping immensely. Gone from being almost bedridden to near normal activities including gardening. Life is gooooood!

31 years old- 1/06- In wreck with 18 wheeler at 25 years old; 6/06- Head on collision on Interstate, both wrecks other drivers fault. Numerous MRI's, PT, chiropractic, acupuncture, TENS therapy, massage therapy, facet injections, epidural injections, Nerve study, Discogram, confirms pain in L4/5, IDET, decompression, Bi-lateral neurotomy L3/4/5, denied by insurance twice, in Active L clinical trial, had surgery March 17, 2009 in Miami, FL- received Active L disc at 29 years old. Pain and medication free as of October 2010!Mommy to Emma- 8 years, Ava- 6 years & had baby Eli after ADR, via c-section on March 25, 2011, completely pain free still!

Snow??? I told my hubby that New Jersey had snow yesterday and he thought I was nuts...where are you, pray tell? I have to show him some snow, somewhere!

I am here too. I spent most of yesterday loading up our big blue box, 20 feet long, in the driveway. (they compete with the Pods but much cheaper) It was the most physical activity I have done since before surgery...lifting moderately heavy things, up and down the stairs probably 30 times, etc. I am fairly sore this morning in my legs. Not too shabby tho. And my back, that was a huge workout for it, but again, feeling only stiff this morning with it. (this afternoon) Trying to de-clutter and stage the house for the sale sign.
Back at it again today...better scoot.

• December 23, 2010 12 more bilateral trigger point injections w/o steroid
• February 15, 2011 ESI bilaterally in lower lumbar...relief only for few days. Considering 1 more.

I am here. The day was really sunny and warm (it hit 80 today). So on the up side, I survived the day. So did you. My day was kinda crappy, so I will give you a couple jokes instead. Did you hear the one about the two skunks? Here goes.
There were two little skunks. One was named "In" and his brother was named "Out". When In was in Out was out. And when In was out, then Out was in. One day motherskunk finished making her skunky meal. Out was in but she wanted In in, too. So she sent Out out to bring In in. So Out went out and within a minute had In in. "How did you find In so quickly?" she asked. "Easy", Out said "In stinkt!"

I hope you enjoyed something here!! I had a really boring day yesterday, 12 hours on my own as I had sent my little helper (17 year old daughter) on a short holiday. She has gone to London with her older sister to see a couple of West End shows. The up side is that she will have hours of stuff to tell me about when they get home.
