That has got to be one of the best games I have ever seen! Of course it helps that my team won. Though not quite the magnitude, it ranks right up there with the famous Jack Morris (bone to Tiger fans) Game 7 and Kirby Puckett Game 6 of the 1991 World Series.

Tigers fans have to be disappointed, but I have a lot of respect for that team. I was partially hoping for Detroit to give the city something to rally around, but I was hoping even more so to give ME something to think about besides my surgery. I am now one week out and the Twins (win or lose) will be a great diversion!

    CL, Pete and Terry,

As a Tiger fan I am disappointed in the outcome of the game. Leyland made some questionable strategy moves that he alone must answer for. As far as the game goes, it was awesome to watch two teams battle it out like they did.

The Twins deserved that win and the Title. They out played the entire division. Congratulations to the Twins and their fans.

Terry -- What kind of coffee do you want? The wife will let me know soon when we will get up there.

Now Twins, go stomp the out of the Stankees.

Me too. Dave, I was hoping that Detroit would win. Sorry about the loss, but what a game.
