My 2-level ALIF is the day before your surgery (the 29th) so I'll be sending positive thoughts your way from my hospital bed. HA!

Take care and please do let us know how you're doing.

ps...we've been trying to make and freeze food ahead of time AND I taught my kids (10 & 12) how to do the laundry (even wrote up a little "how to" that I hung over the machine). We'll see if it actually works though!
    Hi Kimberly,
Thanks for the support. I will be saying a prayer for you on the 28th ,29th.... Please keep me informed on how you are doing. I will posting on here also after my surgery. The laundry idea is great. I know this sound's stupid but what kind's of meals are you freezing. I cook every night ,but I am at a loss as to what would be a good meal to freeze. I am lucky to have a 2nd mom that own's a Italian restaurant who will cook and send dinner to me , but there only so much pasta you can eat.
    Good Luck,
    Karen

    Hi Karen,

Most of what I usually cook doesn't typically freeze well (or is too heavy for summer) but freezing things like lasagna, caseroles, soup, even bunches of bean/cheese burritos gives us at least SOMETHING to eat withough much trouble. After my first surgery a friend gave me several meals from one of those "Dream Dinners" places. It was very handy (and very nice of her) and we were all glad to have it. Food was pretty good (not great.) That's great that you have help (and Italian food) so close by!

    Hi Karen,

I haven't "seen" you on here in a while.......How are you doing?

Just thinking about you and hoping that your surgery went well.
