It's great that you're "up and running" again. That's a huge surgery you went through. Maybe you could share your story from first symptom to your recovery. Success stories are always welcome!

Per advice from a surgeon, I went to Dr Bertagnoli and had c3/4 c4/5 c5/6 and c6/7 done. I feel like a new man! This was 5 months ago but I have been up and "running" for the past 3-4 months. (not really running, I despise the sport) but you get my drift. Just completed a 10 day hunt in the mountains of Idaho for Elk Deer. Our sensitive members will be happy to hear that I never pulled the trigger. The point is that I WAS ABLE TO DO IT! Before, making a sandwich was a lesson in torture. I still have rehab to do and need to watch what I do, but I am so happy to be healthy again.

Hello Buffalo,
So did you have 4 disks installed, or some combination of fusion and disc? I am truly thrilled for you. I have battled pain for 21 years and disabling pain for 8 years. Fusion is a final decision and so I have been holding out for the promise of a 3 level disc surgery. If you could expand a bit on your journey to surgery and what specifically you had done, by whom, where, and how much, it would really be helpful. As it is, your short post has really given me hope for the future. I have had 5 surgical opinions, but the consensus was a 3 level fusion 360, which apparently means I need to get alot more room for my spinal cord.
Thanks and congrats on your new neck,
Biomedguy
