Hello all. Found this site during my investigation of my CT/MRI results.
I am a 37 year old male, currently in the Army.
My "issues" are in my sig.
I do have a few questions regarding some things with my spinal issues. I just recently had an EMG done and it showed no "nerve" issues with my Cervical Spondylosis. The reason I had the EMG was that my hands are in a lot of pain and tingling. The EMG showed that I have possible Carpal Tunnel. My question is, I am having extreme pain through out my neck area, even though that the EMG currently showed no cervical radiculopathy, what are the chances that I have to surgery?
Now my next question is regarding my Lower Lumbar issues. The MRI showed that the S1 nerve was being compressed, but the EMG showed no issue there. Once again having a lot of pain my lower back and its hard for me to walk, I am using a cane currently to help with walking. So like the Cervical question, what are the chances of having to have surgery?
Thanks.
