Hello everybody!!
The first thing I want to say is....sorry for my english!! I am from Spain and three months ago I was infiltrated in my back from stemm cells from my iliac crest.
I think that my future will be an ADR, but I am prying to avoid it, and try to continue with other options.
Here, in Spain there is a lot of doctors doing ADR, but I don´t know if it is a solution for all my life (I am 32 years old) or only a temporaly solution.
I am not the same person I was be in the past without pain and all day thinking at the same thing, MY BACK.
Thanks to all of you for the information and your help to understand people like me.
Best Regards
2009 I made a bulge on L4-L5
A little of pain when I bend the wrist since that
Last 5 months the pain is worse
Jan 2011 Infiltration from my iliac crest of stem cells, an my improve has been medium
Thinking in ADR seriously..... wich will be the best lumbar implant?

It is true, will be better to have the head in other place and not be all day thinking about.
I have been reading some of the cases of this forum, and I see a lot of ADR operations that needs another reoperation later, at a few years, Why? Where is the fail with the adr at five or more years??
Thanks for your reply Alison!!

there are loads of success stories as well though. the younger you are at first spine surgery (whatever it is) it seems more likely that you will need further surgery. try everything for at least two years before any surgery.
I will try all the options before the surgery, but I have fear about the facet joint degeneration if I am waiting too much, it is hard to decide.
At this moment I must waut for at least three months more to see if ths stemm cells have worked ok.
I hope to have good news then, this half of 2010 and first of 2011 have been very very sad with this trouble....
