Forgot my password, somehow it just came back to me! hahah love getting older!! thanks again, you all are amazing that in your pain and search for relief can be so optimistic. I appreciate that very much! it has been a very long road for me and its hard not to get discouraged but each new doctor or specialist has new opinions and advice to offer so i feel as though i am on a very good path. Need to learn to ask more questions and demand answers instead of walking away with nothing yet again. Thank you all and i wish you the best of luck in your searches for answers and pain releif. Hopefully, August 15th I will know where tha path leads me next and can't wait to share with optimism this time what the future holds!

Be sure to write down your questions for the doctor before you go or over the last few weeks. Writing them in a planner is best since pieces of paper get lost. My mind pretty well leaves me in a doctors examining room. They usually ask me what my pain level is "at that moment". Since my mind has gone, it usually is not too bad. Now I write down the worst pain I've had over the last week and when I've had it since that is much more accurate as to what is going on. Best of luck on your next appointment on Aug. 15.

I got my results from my last MRI. the Impression reads
Metal hardware at L5-S1 producing limited evaluation in this region. no significant thecal sac compression appreciated. Moderate bilateral facet/ligamentum flavum hypertropy with suggestion of moderate bilateral neural foraminal narrowing, with likely artifactual component. t-10 thru L4/5 minimal spondylotic changes throughout these levels. I have the Prodisc at L5-S1 and have never had problems or results/comments on MRI from any other level. I"ve had Physical therapy, injections, and pain killers as a main source of treatment. No pain relief from the injections or therapy or really even the pain killers they just put me to sleep

I have an appointment with a pain clinic very soon and am trying to get questions and thoughts in line. I have not been given any kind of diagnosis, in fact, the last doctor said he saw no reason for me to be in pain? if anyone has any ideas on what these results mean I would appreciate it as well as any questions for upcoming appointments.
