Hi, My name is Dan, I'm 62, 5'8" 140 lbs, and I am in constant severe pain from a prostate biopsy procedure that went wrong 4 yrs ago and a scar revision operation that was a total disaster. I can't sit down anymore without severe level 8-10 pain. Thank God for pain meds or I'd probably be dead by now. I am scheduled for a medronics SCS trial. Does anyone out there have a Medronic Ultra or Advanced Model? How about a Boston Scientific? How are they working for you? That big "Advanced" model scares me. I'm looking for your horror and success stories so I can make a good choice.

    Hi Dan,

Welcome to the Spine Patient Society!

I hope we can help support you and help answer your questions. Also, I do hope the SCS helps with your chronic pain. Cindylou is a SPS Member that recently had a SCS placed and she is doing well. She has been a great support to Spine Patients all over the world. I would send her a private message / email to see if you guys can connect.

    Once again, welcome!
