    Announcement New Member, Multilevel DDD

New to SP...I have multilevel DDD with fused L5 S1 25 years ago. After auto accident on 2 14 09 flair up with facet hypertrophy L5 and stinosis with foremena issues and constant lower back pain, leg and groin pain. Unable to sit or walk short distances. Have had epidurals, facet injections and RF ablations. Said no to metrics implant and on Norco 3 x 10/325 plus uroxatrol for bladder issues. Issue with severe difficiency vitiam D in 8 range. Dr said unable to asorb calicul due to vitiam issue. Currently on pt weekly pending sleep study. Pain level 4 to 9 can't do much activity or drive more than 15 minutes. Hope vitiam issue will resolve bone pain issues....

I'm very sorry to hear about your current pain status hooperleo. And also your vitamin D deficiency....not good. My doctor has told me that Minnesotan's, like myself, are quite vitamin D deficient also, due to living up north here, with our long winters and lack of sun exposure. I take a supplement for sure. And when I am outside, I give my face a good 20 minutes of sun exposure before I put on a sun screen. I sure hope you can find the right answers to your spine issues and deficiency loss. Obviously, you must be having sleep issues too, if you are waiting on a sleep study program. Good luck with all of that, Cindylou
