New Member - SI Rhizotomy / Neurotomy Hi
I was so happy to find this forum last week when I was looking up information on SI joint dysfunction. I have been experiencing constant chronic low left sided back pain for over 8 yrs and was finally diagnosed earlier this year when they did a bone scan and found a 'heated' area at my SI joint. They then did the diagnostic facet joint injections after epidurals didn't work and I did recieve some relief. Just last Wednesday I had the nuerotomy done and am pain free now!!! Although I am grateful for the relief I know it is temporary and have done just a little research and found the SIFusion done down in San Deigo (i think) as one of the possible treatments. I have never belonged to a Forum before so it might take me a while to become accostemed to manuevering around here but wondering what others have found with the SI fusions...

I'm glad that your neurotomy has provided you with relief! Congratulations! Feel free to start a thread in the Surgical Outcomes Forum regarding your experience (how you were doing before your procedure, etc.)--it would be helpful for others facing SI issues.
