New Member: SIJD is a pain in the A$$

Hi! I'm new here. Just wanted to see if anyone here is struggling with SI joint dysfunction. I've been looking into getting the SI-Bone iFuse procedure. Has anyone had this done? The diagnostic protocol requires a series of 3 diagnostic SI joint injections with fluoroscopic guidance. I've already had one of those done and don't care to repeat it.

I had to have several injections (with anesthetic only) into the joint in order to confirm that it is the Si joint that is causing the pain. It is the best predictor to confirm SIJD. I had to have 3 injections and if they give you any relief (even 10 minutes) it basically confirms the test as positive. unfortunately, it is the only way to confirm SIJD. Question is, did you get any relief from the first injection? If you have already had the one, you may as well follow through; especially if you are in a lot of pain.
