Welcome New Members! I just wanted to say hello andto all the new members I see on here. This is a great resource for spine patients and is the ONLY un-biased forum on the web. The people here are great and very helpful. This website is free from medical tourist companies and those individuals seeking to further their own for-profit business interests.
. Unlike some of the other places on the web, the people here support you, regardless of the procedure/surgery and surgeon you choose.

BTW- I'm Kathy, 29years old, injured my spine at 25 years and am 3 months post-op with a Active L ADR at L4/5
31 years old- 1/06- In wreck with 18 wheeler at 25 years old; 6/06- Head on collision on Interstate, both wrecks other drivers fault. Numerous MRI's, PT, chiropractic, acupuncture, TENS therapy, massage therapy, facet injections, epidural injections, Nerve study, Discogram, confirms pain in L4/5, IDET, decompression, Bi-lateral neurotomy L3/4/5, denied by insurance twice, in Active L clinical trial, had surgery March 17, 2009 in Miami, FL- received Active L disc at 29 years old. Pain and medication free as of October 2010!Mommy to Emma- 8 years, Ava- 6 years & had baby Eli after ADR, via c-section on March 25, 2011, completely pain free still!

Hello Not alot to say (its all in the signature), just spending hours laid in bed at the moment whilst I wait for my sitting,walking ability to return! Trying to keep busy but its challenging.
