I have been taking 20 mg. of Methadone 3 x daily since December 18, 2010 and am still having problems with side effects such as sleepiness and feeling stupid.

Is anyone else on Methadone? Do the side effects eventually go away?

Also - I was given the choice of having spinal fusion or taking Methadone for the rest of my life. To me that's a no-brainer. Comments, anyone?
