Interesting study, however they state they did not use a combination of glucosamine/chondrotin/msm which is what most say does the work. I will happily take mine till the day i die lol as there is little negative to takeing them.

Do you take one combo pill that covers all three things. From the UK the MSM combo's tend to be lower dosages. I take Glucosamine 1500mg/Chondroitin 1200mg daily. I also take Collagen Two 650 mg/daily. I don't take MSM normally but wondering whether I should! I've taken it in the past though. Do you take a high dose MSM?

There seem to be as many studies supporting these things as there are against - you can't help wondering if you're wasting your money but after 2 major spine surgeries I think I'd rather hedge my bets!

Think I might re-introduce MSM into the equation!

I take 1500 Glucosamine and 1200 Condroitin Sulfate twice a day and my knee feels much better as for my spine maybe a little?
But I think the P.T.and massages is helping the most with anti inflamitories (sp?)

I can't remember what I took, but it was a couple of supplements I had read could help spine problems. I never noticed a difference; but figured they couldn't hurt. Like Ruth said, hedge your bets.
