Only a chronic pain person can appreciate this sentiment and also appreciate the humor in it!Anyway, I finally heeded the good advice of so many folks, including you guys. I think what finally pushed me over w/ a final decision was even the pharmacist, as part of the pain management team at the hospital, recommended I find a new pain clinic as well. And I used her recommendation (one of them) and had my introductory appointment with the doctor and his nurse practioner today. I really, really liked them...especially the doctor. I'll bet he gave me over an hour, if not an hour and a half, for this initial appointment. So thorough. And we talked alot about pain management in general, his philosophy, my philosophy, and the medical world's philosophy. I think this will be a good fit. So thank-you to those of you that helped me make this decision. I appreciate it ever so much. :thumpup:

- Scoliosis and multilevel severe degeneration of the intervertebral disks
- Marked multilevel facet arthrosis
- Fusion of the L5 and S1 vertebrae
- Grade 1 spondylolisthesis at L4-L5 and L5 and S1
- Slight antherolisthesis at L3-4
- Multilevel asymmetrical neuroforaminal narrowing

31 years old- 1/06- In wreck with 18 wheeler at 25 years old; 6/06- Head on collision on Interstate, both wrecks other drivers fault. Numerous MRI's, PT, chiropractic, acupuncture, TENS therapy, massage therapy, facet injections, epidural injections, Nerve study, Discogram, confirms pain in L4/5, IDET, decompression, Bi-lateral neurotomy L3/4/5, denied by insurance twice, in Active L clinical trial, had surgery March 17, 2009 in Miami, FL- received Active L disc at 29 years old. Pain and medication free as of October 2010!Mommy to Emma- 8 years, Ava- 6 years & had baby Eli after ADR, via c-section on March 25, 2011, completely pain free still!
