I've just been started on a trial course of Lyrica (25mg x3/day) after finally getting a diagnoses that confirms my pain is nerve related (facet joint nerve block). I am hoping it will improve my quality of life, and will post regular updates here for other's benefit.

After two days I'm noticing some dizziness and slight hand/eye coordination problems, but nothing big. A botched handshake or two etc.

I had a few side effects in the beginning, or when my dose was doubled; but they did go away. It actually helped my hand pain more than my spine. I don't think my spine pain was nerve, it was disc pain. My hand was similar to carpal tunnel and made all the pain and numbness go away.
