    Default 6 weeks post-op -- ice or heat?

    TheraPy is slow in coming my foot is still numb I am 6 weeks post L5/s1 microdiscecto my should I be using ice or moist heat not sure any help on this would be great!

    You can alternate heat and ice if you want. However, at 6 weeks post-op I would use heat, as the acute inflammatory phase has subsided at this point. Good luck!
