Hi Jeanie I'm about 10 days ahead of you with a one level fusion, I still felt like I'd been run over by a truck at two weeks but like you say it is just gradually improving. I've gotta stay on the pain meds to maintain function, which is normal at this stage. Better to be medicated and up and about than undermedicated and bound up in knots.
User member Rob wrote a blog of his week by week recovery from a 2 level fusion if you search his posts, and there are other stories that document progress on this site and others.
Best wishes.
Chris.
