Hi All,
Thanks for the kind words.
I had my follow up today, and while we 'could' operate, he (the MD) doesn't want to until we've tried everything else, especially after looking at the MRI's which do not show anything immediately obvious. I have a lot of scar tissue from the Lamy and the infection, but no pockets (good news). So, for the next month, we are going to:
Take Voltaren (I know, sounds like a Transformer name)
Take Soma as needed
Do a round of Lumbar Epidurals
Meet again in 4 weeks, and if the current regime hasn't caused improvement, discuss surgical options (or at least something that works).
My wife isn't happy about it, she wants all this stuff over with, and I can see her side of it, but at the same time, it would be great to take care of it with more conservative treatment. So, I'm crossing my fingers, but not holding my breath.
Take care
Dave

So sorry to hear you are still having problems. What a long and trying journey back problems can be. Good luck this next month with more conservative options. Hope it brings you some relief.
