    Default Axialif Query

    Hi Justin,
I was just wondering if you knew anything about the Axialif approach and if it has been very successful so far. I am interested in this approach but am concerned about revision accessability and the possibility of future sacroiliac joint problems.
    Thanks,
    joel.

    Default AxiaLIF® System

    Hey Joel,

I've seen this device for fusion and it looks promising for many patients. The approach is very interesting--a small incision is made lateral to the coccyx to access the disc space of the L5/S1 disc through the sacral promontory.

Here's the AxiaLIF® website for surgeons--the website has animations, publications, indications / contraindication / warnings, clinical experience, etc.

AxiaLIF® Website for Surgeons (has more resources)

    AxialLIF® Website for Patients

I've also attached a free abstract about using the AxialLIF® at 2-levels (L4/L5 and L5/S1).

    I hope this helps.
