I'm sure you have read over my information.When I was having all the trouble with my Cervical and traveling all over
the states trying to find a surgeon to help me I did go to Emory's Spine Center.I saw Dr.Rhee there. He told me there was nothing they could do for me surgically but they could offer me an Epidural.Though I knew this was not the answer to my problems(had confirmed by several doctors at that point hardware failure and no fusion) I went ahead with it anyway even though I knew it would cost me alot of money I just wanted them to know I was willing to do what they asked of me to find the answer.I had the epidural which as always put me down and out with pain.I called back in two weeks as told to and let his nurse know the epidural didn't work and what would be the next plan of attack.His nurse called back and left me this message exactly.At this time there is nothing else that Dr. Rhee can do for you.I was so devestated that I was not even worthy enough to recieve a phone call from him personally telling me this.And I know Doctors do call because I have had plenty of them.
I'm sure there are plenty of people and as well as you have had a great experience with them Unfortunately I have not.I also had a really bad experience with their Pain Medicene Clinic before I had ever had surgery.
So far as a second opinion I feel as I have had two opinions from TBI. I have been seeing Dr. Lieberman 1st for my Cervical issues as well as my Lumbar and it was his suggestion to move foward with either a ADR-fusion or Fusion all together .He as well explained all the pros and cons with me.It was then when I decided I would like to possibly have the ADR that he reccomended me to Dr. Blumenthal at TBI. I value Dr. Lieberman's opinion highly because when no other Surgeon would help me with my Cervical problems he did.
Thanks again for the information and I definetly believe in 2nd,3rd,4th,5th,and 6th opinions .Had I not I would not have had the surgery I desperately needed on my Cervical.
