Welcome Christina. Sorry about your spine issues. When you get a chance, can you provide us with more details about your back (any recent imaging, cervical or lumbar spine issues, what conservative therapies have you tried, etc.)?

Also, see this thread--it should help: http://www.spinepatientsociety.org/f...ignature-1437/

    Default hey

Welcome Christina. Brief bit of advice I can give is if you can afford it, go to germany to a well known doctor if you consider surgery. But get opinions here too from places like texas back institute, or los angeles one. Idk long term, but dynamic stabilizations with paradigm seem to be the future for your condition. But again, get opinions from doctors you trust and see if that can help or fusion is really best option.
Riding 4 wheeler and playing basketball. Collide with guy in mid air and I hit concrete on one leg and then fall down. Wake up in pain cant move for few hours, fine few days later. Back never the same.

dec 2007 horseplaying with father, contained l5-s1 disc herniation with sciata on right leg, traction helps and time, pain free, diagnosed ddd l4/l5 and l5/s1
