Nothing worse than being exhausted and can't get sleep. When I'm desperate for a few hours of sleep I take Benadryl.
It does the trick. For help with every night sleeping problems I take Melatonin 5 mg it's a dietary supplement not a
prescription.Hope this might help you catch some .

Four hours, I'll take it!:^) Sorry you can't sleep. I'm not sure I've slept for 4 straight hours in months!

I tried Ambein but I end up with a headache the next day. I tried Nyquil but after the first day the effectiveness for me dwindles each day. I tried ibuprofen PM recently which worked the best.

WHile going through the hydrocodone withdrawels, I think I'm just about done, I was staying up until ~4AM and then going to bed when I felt like I just had to crash. The insomnia is better now and for the past week I've only been taking 2x regular Ibuprofens before bed.

It's probably too early but any sign that the shot is working yet?

    Hope you get some .

I take the same thing, except I take 3 a night- LOL. I even asked my OB if it is safe in pregnancy and it is, so it's obviously safe as not too many meds are safe during pregnancy. Hope you get some sleep soon. I've been bummed that I've only been getting 7 hours a night (I know cry me a river right?). I am so flippin' tired but can't seem to make myself take a nap and I've been waking early with the stomach upset. Keeping my eye on the prize though, so makes it more bearable.

Yeah, I took a couple melatonin but did not sleep one wink last night...not one iota. So I've had less than 6 hours of sleep over the past 72 hours. Big ugh. I did get the call from my bestfriend's sister this morning, and she is close to her final hours. I'm sure this tragedy, along with my steroid injection, has just wrecked havoc on my sleep patterns. Pray that I can now let go of my friend. She deserves peace and pain free living in heaven.

My husband is still out east, D.C. to be exact, and I believe flying to N. Carolina as I type this, and he recommended I call my internist and ask for a small prescription of ambien that he could pick up for me when he returns home Friday evening. Really good idea. Why didn't I think of that? I actually drove up to the cabin last night with my dog and lots of ice packs, because I knew this phone call was coming and I am more at peace up here. The loons, the eagles, the lake, the deepwoods, it all comforts me. And I know my body will crash soon. In good time. I think later I will head to town and get some benadryl pm like someone mentioned on here as well, until I can hopefully get that ambien filled and in my hands.
