Yesterday, I had my first massage since being off all of my medications (narcotics). I have to say this was the FIRST time I can remember in a good couple years now where I didn't have any leg pain. I was still getting off of my Suboxone the last time I had a massage and I was in full withdrawals, so I was achy and sore all over (and my legs hurt). I just laid there and tried to "soak in" how incredibly good and foreign this felt. It was quite an experience.
I wish those still struggling with spine issues much success--I've come through three spine surgeries now and I have to say there is light at the end of the tunnel. Your perseverance to get better / find a solution will ultimately serve you well--don't ever give up!
BTW: sorry for my absence this week. I've been sick the last week and a half with quite a cold.

Take care of that cold.Eat tomato soup and grilled cheese. Great comfort food for a cold.

Hi Justin,
There is a company called Massage Envy that is excellent. I get massages every week and this really helps out with the pain and of course the costs. I belong to it and they are all over the US. I would go to google and look up massage envy and I am sure it will bring they all up. There is sure to be one in your area. They are open 7 days a week. Their hours are good too. Tell them I referred you. I only had one other person, a doctor friend of mine, sign up for it too. Let me know if you need any help finding it. Also I used suboxone to get off of vicadon. At first suboxone made me nauseated but the doctor gave them to me in smaller dosages but more times a day. This solved the problem. Now I am just trying to stay awake.
