Look up Restless leg syndrome. It commonly occurs after someone is on opioids for a period of time and then quites. For me is was like needle pricks and itchess that made you f0ot and leg move. I heard the term "Kicking the habit" was inspired by this action.
Low back pain became somewhat dehabilitating in 2005
Have had 11 steroid injections, IDET, Trial for nerve stimulator, PT, chiropractic trial, practically every med known to mankind. Discogram indicated three diseased levels with L5-S1 being the most likely pain generator. Post minimally invasive PLIF with internal fixation (titanium) on 12-28-09 of L5-S1. Doing better than expected. Last opioid 7/9/10. Five months pain free, then my neck turned against me. MRI on 12/1/10-- disease at C2 to C7. Only surgical alternative is to fuse entire C-spine. Diagnosed now with Aggressive Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis with cord & brainstem active lesions

I'll keep it a secret and let the suspense build. Till after my MRI Dec ist. One thing that set me off ill is the other night the biggest of our schnauzers was getting exercise and tacking care of business when he jumped a skunk in our yard. Schnauzers are ratters by nature and after Duke caught a glancing blow it was off to the races. Chased him through the woods, back into the side yard and across the street. He was major league mad. I saw Duke run him under a deighbors porch but unless I hear something, mums the word, at least until I can raze him next time we are over there to eat.

Dogs are of two types those that learn about skunks one time and those that never learn. One of ours is the latter.

Good story Jack of all Trades! I'm so glad we haven't encountered the skunks up at our cabin. Raccoons and most other type critters, but nary a skunk. Thank God. Never mind that our cabin has been taken over by mice this season. I suspect one of these times we will pull in the driveway only to find they have carried the whole cabin away! Sorry for the hijack..... CL
