Severe compression of spinal cord, flaval ligament, etc. at C4/5 & 5/6.
Herniation and compression, at L3/4 to L5/S1 plus spondylosis at the latter level. Severe allergy to most metals.
Three level surgery in Brazil with Dr. Luiz Pimenta on March 17/2010 using non-metal appliances. L5/S1-PEEK cage, ALIF; L4/5-PEEK cage, XLIF; C5/6-NuVasive NeoDisc. Three separate approaches, two minimally invasive. Currently minor residual back pain, from SI ligament and still overdoing things . Therapy and chiropractic treatments helping immensely. Gone from being almost bedridden to near normal activities including gardening. Life is gooooood!

I dunno depends if you have something that hurts more you can almost not feel it in comparison sometimes - I broke my wrist & tore a ligament i stayed home for over 16 hr's as my bac hurt more than my hand for me it was a nice distraction - I didn't think it was borken but only decided to go in as by the time 9 hr's hit the swelling was way up - did ice over nite & went in the next day. I broke my rib too last July - it just hurts as mentioned if you breathe too deeply - not much they can do some say dont wrap now a days as you tend to breathe even less & others still do - mine didn't wrap it. That is what caused my muscles to shorten though & flared up my TOS due to the muscles pulling down by shortening that pulled down on my extra cervical rib so now I have TOS - point being sometimes a break can lead to other complications, so if in doubt get it checked out. Better to be safe than sorry.
You could be just more sore as the days went by from the sprains & bruises that alone can be bad enuf!
Bathrooms can be dangerous places I have skated more than once. I hope you are OK. IF nothing else they maybe able to give you something to help you feel more comfortable for a bit. I just think peace of mind is well worth having. Jill

    Default Hmmmmmmmmmmmm...

    Well,

I went to my FABULOUS chiropractor and he SCREAMED at me for not going and getting myself checked out. He took one look at the bruises I had and stated, they aren't just little bruises, your whole tailbone and hip area is COVERED in a deep bruise. After he said that I told him that I said I was bruised and he thought I meant a little bruise.

Needless to say, he didn't do much at all, everything he touched hurt like #&!!!! especially in my low back on my right side.

I am going to MAKE SURE I see my dr Monday. At least have him look at it to see what he thinks. I am not able to drive cuz sitting is NOT an option at this point, THANKFULLY my girlfriend is here to help me out, or SERIOUSLY I think I might have went CRAZY trying to deal with Amiah.

Thanks as ALWAYS for the advice given, I REALLY appreicate all of you and the support and care you show. It is a LIFESAVER!!

    Keep you posted!!
