Thank you for the work you did getting back to me on the costs, etc. As a retired school teacher, divorced with no children, money would be a factor in doing a surgery in another country. I read with interest your messages. You would have to give me the formula for changing dollars into euros. I really appreciate your time, interest, and support you have provided. I thank you very much. Carmen

XE - The World's Favorite Currency and Foreign Exchange Site is one of the most premier conversion sites and also exchanges money for a fabulous rate. I have used them for foreign travel and they are excellent and secure.
I will pray that all of you can now get fixed with the new Spinal Kinetics discs. They sound among the more promising technologies to replicate the spinal functioning.
Happy holidays all. I am in Minnesota with Betsy's family for Christmas. Lovely time this year though getting ready for a major snowstorm.
Peace all.

I'm busy living my life after a successful 4-level ADR surgery with Dr. Ritter-Lang at Stenum Hospital in Germany. If you would like to contact me, please click the email icon under my SPS Member Profile, as I'm not on SPS daily.
Hi Katie,
I am sure my surgery will also be multi-level. I wrote out all that I had wrong but somehow it got deleted. It took me an hour to write up everything. Next time I may just write it in office, and have it as an attachment. I will try again to write everything up but it was very emotionally and physically draining. I will try again when I have more strength. Don't worry. Anything that I find out on the 4th I will write up in this forum. It seems my doctor and the doctor in Germany authored a book together. I am sure my doctor will be less expensive than going across the pond. Carmen
Hi Terry,
Well we are both in snow covered states. I have to go to Kenosha, WI on Christmas Day.
I want to thank you for putting in your conversion web site. It will come in very handy no matter what I use it for. Thank you again and have a great holiday in Minn. Carmen
Hi Katie,
I hope you are doing well.I got your message just a bit ago, and I will give you a call tomorrow. It's been a crazy busy day.
How are you feeling?

Thanks, and hope this isn't an imposition. Looking forward to a discussion about my options.

Carmen, it's almost inverse proportions...the amount of time you spend on an entry, vs how often it disappears into the cybernet
Just a hint after having the same frustrating thing happen more than once....if you simply highlight and press Ctrl C before pushing Send, you will not lose your post. If something goes wrong, just press Ctrl V and it should reappear. That being said, I hope it doesn't happen again.
