My wife had to have surgery for one of her elbows. The surgery was done as an outpatient with monitored anesthesia, i.e. IV meds for pain but she was still awake.

Only having one arm done at a time was a very good move. Having both arms out of commission at one time is awful. Even though I am married, there are certain things I just would not want even my wife to do if you catch my drift.

I emailed Gil the other day. He said he is on the mend and that the surgery went well--he also said that he is no longer on pain meds.

Hi All

Thanks for all your support,
My Surgeries went very well My arm is in a full cast and is removable for P.T.
Stitches will come out today,
Typing with one hand is a challange.
The vein surgery in my leg also went well,they had to knock me out

now its time to heal and take care of my spine and family.
I will post more later
