    Default Neuragen -

One other thing I found as I hate those odd zingers & swelling etc now that I am POST-OP. I tried a product sold at Walgreens it can be found online or in some other stores I saw it advertised in S. Living in their Sept issue - & felt why not try it - I tried it last nite as Walgreens here finally got it in.

It is called Neuragen - it is Clinically tested & over 70% of Users report Relief - Now when i had the mechanical scar entrapment & Arterial compression of more than one artery, before my surgery, I dont know that it would have helped, but NOW that I am trying to heal I felt this maybe a good time to use this to help things along.

It is Homeopathic & it is a TOPICAL. I was not sure it would do much but I felt I was game. I dont like med's especially pain med's the Aceti. Cant think how to spell it is hard on the liver & it slows down the pain med the stomach & I dont need that.

I put some on & it does take down the pain level a bit especially the acheyness & helps with swelling too. It is for shooting pain, tingling pain, burning & Aching. It can be used virtually anywhere but says especially the hands & feet, I put a little. All you do is use a little & spread it around on my Hubby's Big toe he had 2 yr's ago a Steriod injection there but didn't last & it is really big & hurts alot. Think it is gout & arthritis has set in big time & it is affecting the bone there. I put some on it & for the 1St time in over 2 yr's he felt good it was gone. He has not used more since then & still this AM he is better - this can be used up to 4 times a day.

I am glad i bought it. I am trying it on my Right NO operated side today to see if it helped - the answer sadly for me is NO - however it DID help my Left my Surgical side ! So it seems the one side can be helped which is good that is the side I got operated on. The Right has scar tissue too & my guess is until that is gone that is why no relief. But for anyone in recovery post -op there is possibly some help with this.

I had terrible breathing problems after my TOS surgery - but now it is like someone flipped a switch & I have my diaghragm back just like that. I just hope this continues. I got my doc's operating report & I had more done than I knew about so I expect this to be around 6 mo's to see what I got.

He had to remove scar tissue from the Subclavian Artery & the Traverse Cervical Artery. The 3 Trunks of the Brachiual plexus had to be dissected from dense investing scar tissue. The anterior Scalene was removed as I knew prior would be as it had chronic scarring. However the Middle Scalene was overlying my Cervical rib & was also in direct contact with the Brachial Plexus so a portion of this muscle was removed. I knew from my doc I was VERY compressed but had no idea it went this far but he prob. felt at the time I was pretty doped up in the hospital but it is always good to read for yourself. At any rate I felt people with spine surgery could be possibly helped by this product to get moved along the road to recovery.
