Question Mark Spinal Stenosis and Spondylosis

When I was 28 I found out about these things going on in my neck, Is it safe to say they where caused by Herniations in my youth that led to my cervical DDD? Is that where my pain comes from? Or is it more from my disc tears? Is it dangerous to remove bone spurs since I have a congetially narrow spinal canal? I just turned 30 and coach high school basketball..At this point I just hope to get 1 or 2 M6 disc at c4-5 and c5-6 have the bone spurs removed and go on with my life...I wonder if after surgery I will be scared to ever run and jump again...

I wake up each morning free of pain but after 15min of my neck trying to support my head the pain comes right back...It gets unbarrable after 2 or 3 hours and I have to constantly lay down to take the weight of my head off my neck..Does this just sound like DDD?

C5-6: Disc desiccation with mild height loss.Diffuse discosteophyte bulge and uncovertebral joint hypertrophy, moderate central canal stenosis- Severe neuroforaminal stenosis bilaterally, right greater than left

I am obviously not a doctor; but it does sound like DDD to me. I have been told, that basically the herniations, tears and such are all DDD. I had a grade 5 tear in my L4/5 and was told I had DDD.

to the site and sorry you find yourself in this situation. Ask any questions you may have, there are many people on here with lots of knowledge and are a wealth of information to share.
