According to my MRI report I have a High Grade Posterior Annular Tear at the 6'oclock position. I have read everywhere else on here that the tears go from grade 1-5. Can someone explain what mine means. Also does this mean that the tear is all the way through the annulus? And finally in terms of position, does 6'oclock position mean that it is dead center of my spine? Thanks in advance
Nathan
Yeah I know what the 6'oclock position means, just not where exactly it is. I just don't know which way it is looked at to determine where the 6'clock would be.
I wish I could help on this, but my MRI report said L4/5 disc Grade 4 tear. I would call and ask the radiologist who read your report or your surgeon.
