Hello everyone, I am the "american girl" that had the 3 level ADR with Dr. B in Germany. I stayed in the room next to fuzzy who walked with me down to extra. I am doing better-stil on pain meds, tired-but walking a bit

I"m a competitive tennis player in WA state, and can"t wait to hit some balls. Today I am 3 weeks post op.

    Wendy,

Congratulations on your sucessful surgery. Glad you found the site. There are many helpful people around here that can help guide you through your recovery, so ask a bunch of questions if you have them.

Did you find the coffee as good as Fuzzy did over there? He loved it.

    Hi Wendy,

Welcome to the Spine Patient Society!

You were very lucky to have such a great neighbor during your stay in Germany. A three level artificial disc replacement operation is a huge surgery. Was your surgery a cervical or lumbar case? It would be great to read more details about your case (your spine history).

Here's to hitting more tennis balls in due time!

I just realized the "N" stands for Nova, so you must be a cervical case. I hope your recovery is smooth.

Welcome to the site Wendy. I look forward to hearing more about your story, when you are feeling well enough to relate it.

Take things slow, walk as much as you can, but listen to your body. It will tell you if you are doing too much.

    Hi Wendy,

What is a Prodisc-N? What does it look like? And finally, does it allow motion? So very curious...I wish they'd do three level cervical sugeries in the US. Keep us updated,

Physcial Therapy is helping me with some of the tension at the base of my skull from the third surgery I had. It was very painful, stiff, and pressure up into my eyes. It's day 5 of PT today. They are going to have me doing some aqua stuff. I'll let you know how it goes.
