Hello all,
Had surgery febuary 10 2011.
Still have pain getting out of bed and up out of the recliner chair.
Now taking over the counter drugs.
After 6 weeks of not smoking I started again for 10 days and boy I could tell .
I had more pain.
So now I quit again.
I sure want to stay of the smokes till I am completely fused.
Wont go to the doc for another check up till august.

Hey Ron, thanks for the update on your surgery. You sound like you are very status quo in your recovery state, and that's actually a great place to be. I ditto Justin on the not going back to smoking. I lost my Dad and my brother to lung cancer (both smokers) and I still miss them desperately. My husband finally quit for good when he saw what it did to my brother and how distraught I was from losing him. Take care of yourself....give it your best shot to heal properly. And, good luck!
