I will tell you how I decided on my particular date. When I heard of the minimally invasive procedure I decided now was the time. The only thing I did not know was that two surgeries would be accomplished instead of just one. When I found that out it was too late to go back. If I would have just had the minimally invasive it would have been a piece of cake. Unfortunately the doctor had to do both. I had the minimally invasive PLUS the traditional. I am now in recovery. It has now been almost 8 weeks and I think I should be feeling better by now. I have an appointment today so I will see what the doctor has to say. Thanks for asking for my opinion. Carmen Lange

Carmen- So happy to see you back on here!!!! Eight weeks is way early for recovery, your body went through a lot (twice in your case). For me the victories came in small sizes for awhile, then at a year, I could tell I was much better. Be patient and it will happen!

Thanks for sharing Susanna & don't give up hope on the 'permanent' damage going away, Katie was told the same thing and some (maybe even all, I can't remember) of her 'permanent' damage has gone away!

    Carmen,

Kathy's right. At 8 weeks, you should be recovering from the physical trauma of anterior surgery. It takes a lot of patience but you're at the beginning of the end. Take your time and heal right. We only get one chance to heal correctly.
