He told me he could help me , but could not guarantee it would last , and I could possible get worse with time.

Being young I thougt I could get through anything , now it is a different story , at 34 I feel 64 , and cant imagine living the rest of my life like this.

Every day is a struggle , I keep hope for that pain free day .
Hi Mike, and welcome I am so very sorry that you are still finding yourself in unresolved, relentless pain. It just bites the big one. And try as you might, it can be extremely difficult identifying a pain source (s). Have you ever had a discogram done? I was just thinking that may be something to consider, if you haven't. You could discuss this with your surgeon, along with the updated MRI you are looking at getting. Just food for thought. I do get the frustration and pain. Many days my meds don't even touch the pain. Those are very bad days. Other days I get a little reprieve. I hope you get some answers soon, and more importantly, the relief that goes along with those answers. You take care, Cindylou

    Hi Cindylou,

I did have a discogram done , all disc above the fusion were negative. I saw my PCP yesterday and he will not order another mri (he feels the specialist should order if needed).

I wont see him for another 2 months as he wants me to finish PT before I see him again , so more pain , no results .
