Your backache is probably because you miss your futon too. Boy, we sure miss home, don't we.

thanks, and don't be sorry. I was thinking about him,giving him a hug always. I can imagine he will run across like crazy and ask me " have you been somewhere lately ? " I can also imagine that I can give him a walk longer than before by summer I think. Dr. B told me he has retreiver too when we met for first time. :thumpup: btw, my avatar is my dog " iceman "

Just like Dave, I have been thinking about you. I hope you are well. Iceman is BEAUTIFUL! I know you will be so happy to see him. I have a boxer (part horse) and I know he is going to want to be in bed with me after my surgery. I also have a couple of stray cats I took in 15 years ago. They are always up for lounging around and taking naps! Be Well!

Thanks for the posts. I just got back from dinner at Italian restaurant Molisana. I've been around with 3 american friends
lately. I enjoyed a lot at last of my stay. I got bottle of wine from owner of the restaurant, Molisana. I should pack it carefully to my suitcase. enjoyed Gelato four straight day. Also enjoyed a festival in Bogen today.

I go home tomorrow. I am quite good. I'm going to tell more from my country. I still have problem with my left hip/buttock
area but, I am more than satisfied with this trip. My life ends once in this trip and I try to start another life somehow.

Dear Ken,
I am so glad you have gotten this behind you and are pleased with the outcome. I also hope the left hip/buttock pain subsides. Is this pain less that it was before surgery? I have enjoyed all of your posts and look forward to hearing from you when you get home. I'm wishing you a safe travel home and please wrap that wine up good. A friend of mine brought back a bottle of liquor when we went to the Bahamas and it busted in her suitcase - not pleasant.

Hopefully Iceman will not be TOO excited to see you soon! Your trip has been nothing short of wonderful...and we so appreciate all the details that you have shared with us. It makes our journeys so much easier.
