Default Lumbar Fusion in three days!!! (L3-4, L4-5 and L5-S1)

Well I'm 3 days away from my long awaited spinal fusion. I want to thank everyone for very good advice through my decision making process. It has been a long time in coming and hope that everything goes well from a surgical and recovery standpoint. I appreciate this forum and what it does for people on a daily basis and hope to be able to be as helpful to others after my surgery as you all have been to me while going through the decision making process.

    Thank you ALL>>>>>>>

    Bob

Thank you Kathy, especially for prayers they will be greatly appreciated. If you can keep my son on the prayer list also as even though he is not having back surgery he does get to have all his wisdom teeth surgically removed on the same day as my surgery. I will keep everyone updated on my progress and as I stated hope to give inspiration and great advice as you all have given me to new members. Bob

Thank you for the support CindyLou, my surgery will be at a hospital you probably know all too well Abbott Northwestern. Thats where I had my first two and If I remember correct thats where you had some surgery also. The prayers go both ways as I see your dealing with loosing a prescription and some pretty bad pain, at least your injection helped for a while. I hope you can get some pain relief soon and some lasting relief with the procedure your looking at having done. Bob
