When asked by the doctor if I was glad I had it done I was and would do it again. The Central Texas Spine Institute team is excellent, especially Amy who is such an encouragement. If you are thinking about the XLTDR I would say to you to do it.
    CONGRATULATIONS!

That is such incredible news.....I know I kind of blew it up with the emoticons but YOU DESERVE IT!!! Reading this post just made my night. I just read a really depressing thread about JK dealing with 8 weeks of hell after surgery and hearing you have made it to the other side has made my day. So so glad you made it. Just remember that you are still recovering and even though you may not hurt or feel bad to still try and take it easy....easier said than done. Congratulations again and best of luck to you......Man I'm so happy I got to read your post before bed. I need one of those everynight!

Yea! Glad you are doing well! Keep us updated as it's hard not really knowing what to expect especially being in a clinical trial. I had mine 1/28/09 and I have good and bad days still. Just walked about a mile this morning since I've gotten a bit lazy
Gotta keep moving though! Take care!

    Dancen1,

Thanks for the update! I moved your thread to the Surgical Outcomes Forum since you are now on the other side!

I've heard great things about the Central Texas Spine Institute. I'm so glad that you are feeling well! Congratulations!
