Hello all,
I have been feeling so well I dropped out of sight. Sorry. Have answered many emails re: insurance reimbursement but haven't visited the site in a while. Nice updates.
Have had to quit playing golf. Once per week was ok but constantly sore and hurting. I think the twisting is just too much for us lumbar challenged folks. Miss my friends. Have to start a Backgammon leagus instead.
Am still doing incredibly well otherwise though. Can do most anything within reason and I am so much better than I was just a few short months ago. Keep trying friends. Don't ever quit trying to feel better!
Happy Halloween.
Ben

Ben,
Thanks for the update. It's great to read how well you are doing!Don't let giving up golf get you down--there are many other hobbies to explore. (I say this as a person that choose to give up many sport-related hobbies after my artificial disc replacement surgery.)
Happy Halloween!![]()

Ben- Glad you are doing so well. I had just started getting into golfing before injuring my back, but have found it's just too much on me to golf now. I'll live vicariously through my hubby and kids on that one. Like Justin said, there are so many other things we can do (and being pain free is priceless)

Ben,
It's great to hear from you. Sorry about the golf game though. I used to work in Miami, across the street from the Doral CC. Golf was a habit until I injured my back. It's been over 10 years since I've played a complete round.
With the 4 year old, I've found a few things to do in it's place though. Justin and Kbear are right, being pain free is a great trade off for golf.
