P.T. may be to aggressive, When I had my micro at L4-L5 the surgeon said no P.T. and no twisting,bending and no sitting for weeks! She also would not give me a script for p.t.
I went for short walks, and healed very well, PLEASE take it slow as mine reherinated 9 months later, and more surgery was in the future.
As for W.C. was this a work related injury? I am on W.C. let me know if I can help?
